A Person Wakes up and for the first time becomes aware they have fingers.

Imagine a person lying in bed waking up in the morning and for the first time looks down at their hands and realize they have fingers and can feel things.

Initially this would seem like an odd story but slowly you could reveal things about why they never discovered it before. Possibly someone was using a memory wiping device and deleted the wrong memory chain.

It could be that someone was now trying to track them down because they still remembered that other thing they tried to erase. In the end they get them and correct the process.
